My Approach

If you’re feeling low, anxious, overwhelmed, or simply tired of carrying something you can’t quite put into words, you are not alone. I’m Serhan, a Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist, and my work is centred around helping you make sense of your thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a way that feels human, compassionate, and grounded.
I don’t believe therapy is about fixing you, but about understanding you – so that the parts of you that feel confusing, heavy, or disconnected can begin to be seen, heard, and integrated, allowing space for healing to take place.

My Services
I offer one-to-one therapy sessions, integrating psychotherapy and hypnotherapy, tailored to your individual needs. Together, we may explore areas such as anxiety, low mood, trauma, addiction, grief, or a general sense of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected – whatever you may be carrying. My approach is holistic and person-centred, meaning I work with you as a whole, rather than focusing on a single issue in isolation. Through our work, we develop a deeper understanding of your experiences, alongside practical tools and techniques that can support you in navigating life more confidently and independently.
I aim to create a space where you can feel comfortable, to open up at your own pace, knowing that what you bring is welcome, understandable, and something we can work through together, while also gently and therapeutically challenging you where needed to support deeper reflection and growth. Sessions may involve open conversation, reflective exploration, and, where appropriate, deeper work with the subconscious, helping you to better understand patterns and process experiences.
Whether you are looking for short-term support or longer-term exploration, the space is shaped around you – your pace, your goals, and your process. Wherever you are, we begin from there.
The Therapy Corner
The Therapy Corner began as a simple idea – a space for therapy. Over time, through both my own journey, and the people I’ve met along the way, it has grown into something much more.
Alongside one-to-one therapy, at its core, The Therapy Corner offers a space to discuss, explore, and learn through workshops, group therapy, and psychoeducational content, all designed to support emotional well-being, self-understanding, and self-care. The aim is not only to support you in processing your experiences, but to help you develop greater awareness, tools, and confidence to navigate life more independently and with increased clarity, while deepening your connection with yourself.
This approach is rooted in the understanding that wellbeing is not shaped by one area of our lives alone, but through the interaction of everything that makes us who we are – our thoughts, our feelings, our body, and our deeper sense of self. To feel more balanced, we can begin to give attention to all of these parts, not in isolation, but together. The Therapy Corner is built around this idea – currently offering psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and group therapy, while continuing to grow through collaboration with like-minded practitioners. Over time, this space is developing to include a wider range of support, such as yoga, nutrition, physical training, and movement-based practices, creating more ways to explore, learn, and connect – both within and beyond therapy. This is not about offering fixed answers or a single way forward. It is about creating a space where you can reflect, understand yourself more deeply, and begin to take what you learn into your everyday life, supporting you in moving towards a healthier and more balanced way of being.
